How is this different from a traditional recruiting agency?

When should I choose the monthly model vs contingency?
If you expect to make multiple hires or want flexibility as priorities change, the monthly model is usually the better fit. If you're filling one or two targeted roles, contingency can make more sense. Many teams switch between models as hiring needs evolve.
Can I change roles after we start?
Yes. You're not locked into a single role with either model. If priorities change, you can shift focus without restarting the search or renegotiating terms.
How many candidates will we actually see?
We focus on quality, not volume. You'll receive a small, curated shortlist of candidates who match your criteria and are ready to interview.
How flexible is the engagement?
The monthly model starts with a short initial commitment and then moves to month-to-month with a 30-day notice. Contingency has no ongoing commitment, and fees apply only when a hire is made.
Can you support multiple teams or portfolio companies?
Yes. We regularly support multiple teams under the same umbrella, including portfolio companies. Investors often introduce us as a value-add resource, but there's no cost or obligation to the fund. Each team decides whether to work with us.
